Curried Calamari

Malaysian style curried calamari

Servings: 4
Prep Time: 8 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

1/2 lb Squid – cleaned and sliced
1 tbs Mama Lam’s Curry Paste
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup Sunflower Oil

Directions:

    1. Make sure squid is completely dry. Then, mix squid and curry paste together.

    2. Mix the curry-covered squid with the flour.

    3. Heat oil in the pan.

    4. Once oil is heated, place the flour-curry-covered squid into the pan.

    5. Fry until golden brown or approximately 5 minutes. Move and/or flip the squid around to make sure it doesn’t burn.

    6. Remove and drain the oil on plate with paper towel.

Ingredients needed: cleaned squid tubes, Mama Lam’s Malaysian Curry Paste, and all-purpose flour
Mix ingredients together!
The curry-battered squid is ready for frying.
